EZ Usenet - Easynews® for Android™

EZ Usenet is an Android™ application that allows Easynews® members the ability to search and download content from Usenet newsgroups directly to their phone/tablet.

The app has the following features:

• Compatible with phones and tablets running Android 4.2 - 10
• Search binary content by keyword
• Search type can be filtered by Image, Audio, Video, Document, Archive, etc
• Advanced filtering (Date, Size, Filename,Newsgroup,Media types, etc) and sorting is also available
• Build-in Zip Manager  (send downloads to your queue, access your queue from the app, download files from your queue)
• Search results contain useful information about each result:
  • Image results include thumbnail, resolution, filesize, newsgroup
  • Audio results include codec, audio length, bitrate, filesize
  • Video results include video length, filesize
• Built-in download manager to download files in the background to your SD card
• Multiple select of search results for easy download/zip manager/nzb creation
• Works with Wifi and 3G/4G connection
• Choose which HTTP/HTTPS ports to use for downloading
• Ability to save searches and reuse them as a search template
• For a given search result, you can do the following (depending on result): 
  • Download
  • Download To... (select a location on your SD card)
  • Add to Zip Manager (sends the item to the first open queue)
  • Download NZB (downloads the NZB file - integrates well with other Android NZB apps such as SAB Control or NZB 360 to send to a remote SABnzbd server to download )
  • Play URL - stream video content with 3rd party media players such as MX Video Player and MoboPlayer
  • Share URL - used to share to other apps w/ option to pass credentials - useful for download managers
  • Copy URL
  • Play Audio Sample (for audio search results)

• Integration with Shazam and Soundhound Android apps to automatically populate an Easynews® search from a sound search
• The application is available for free with a download limitation of posts in the last 14 days. This can be unlocked by purchasing a premium unlock key from Google Play store.
